Yesterday's Tomorrow

In the current issue of ND Magazine, I take a look at where we as a society are headed by reflecting on where we collectively have come from. I wrote the article well before COVID-19 entered our vocabulary but the process of dealing with change, especially change that disrupts the routines of our daily lives, is the same: recognition, acceptance, application of remedies and preparation for the next round of change that is sure to come. The article is both personal and universal, touching on themes that reflect the character and outlook of Notre Dame.
